The XR1-1600/CV3706 is a triode Thyratron designed for industrial control applications. The peak current is 20 Amps.
It was redesigned in 1961 as the XR1-1600A.
The CV3706 designation is also on the envelope.
The UX4 base has a locating pin for bayonet base.
The wide glass tube envelope is 39 mm in diameter, and excluding the UX4 base pins is 103 mm tall.
