The CV5333 is a tetrode pulse modulator thyratron and the prototype was the CV4082.
The control elements have copper rods and radiating fins at the top.
The mica discs are doubled - prevents early damage due to vibration. The high voltages present require the additional insulation of ceramic components.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 85 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type CV5333 was first introduced in 1960. See also 1960 adverts.
