The CV2023 is a CV131 with tapes welded to the pins for permanent insertion into a circuit.
The valve is a general purpose amplifying pentode. The commercial equivalent is the EF92 and the M8161 is a special quality version. The CV2023 is electrically the same valve but with tapes welded to the pins.
The KB/EN identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the EN identifies the maker as Thorn-AEI, Sunderland.

The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins, is 49 mm tall.
