The CV2023 is a CV131 with tapes welded to the pins for permanent insertion into a circuit.
The valve is a general purpose amplifying pentode. The commercial equivalent is the EF92 and the M8161 is a special quality version. The CV2023 is electrically the same valve but with tapes welded to the pins.
The KB/EN identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the EN identifies the maker as Thorn-AEI, Sunderland.
The KB/EN below the painted out CV131 showing the post production addition of the Paxolin ring and welded tags.
The outer screen hides the internal components.

The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins, is 49 mm tall.
