The CV2127 is a video output pentode for TV and Radar. The commercial equivalent is type 6CH6 as can be seen on the envelope.Within the cylindrical anode are four vertical rods that may be beam plates or g3. The screen grid is a flattened helix supported on notched rods. The closer wound g1 is close to the flattened cylinder of the cathode and the grid wires pass horizontally in front of the cathode. In this way the g2 wires appear to slant in front of g1.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins measures 60 mm tall.References: Data-sheet, 1040, 3002. Type CV2127 was first introduced in 1952. See also 1952 adverts. |
