The 6BM6 is a miniature broadband reflex klystron. The reflector is visible at the top of the picture. The ring connections are the resonators, with resonator one being closest to the base. This oscillator klystron was used in the Hewlett Packard 8614A signal generator and in this application the frequency range covered was 800 - 2,400 MHz.
The base is a miniature B4 and the largest ring is 24 mm in diameter.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 67 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 3002. Type 6BM6 was first introduced in 1948. See also 1948 adverts.
