The CV2266 is a military specification wire ended neon. It was designed as a voltage stabiliser with a very small anode current, about 500 μA. Striking voltage is 85 and operating voltage is 60 Volts.
The thin glass tube envelope is 5 mm in diameter and 22 mm long.
