The 6516 is a special quality audio output valve equivalent to the M8082. The valve is based on the EL91.

For self bias the cathode resistor should be 740 Ohms. The anode load is 16,000 Ohms. An output of 1.4 Watts is possible in a single ended configuration. Distortion figures are 10%.

The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
