CV395Sensibly equivalent¶ to:G180/2M QS150/45 VX372

The CV395 is a voltage stabiliser tube that operates with currents through the valve of between 5 and 45 mA and maintains a voltage of 150 Volts. The prototype was the VX372. a(a) is a priming anode. The commercial version is the G180/2M from STC.The KB/QG identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the Q identifies the maker as English Electric Valve Co., We do not have a location for the G suffix.
The inner electrodes cannot be seen, but the construction is an outer cathode with a central rod anode.The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8B base pins is 63 mm tall.References: Data-sheet. Type CV395 was first introduced in 1950. See also 1950 adverts. |
