The GEC U107 is a half wave rectifier designed for series heater chains operating at 100 mA as was found in domestic AC/DC radios and some televisions in the early 1950s.
The GEC logo. M-OV valves were branded GEC for professional applications with Marconi and Osram being the consumer brands.
The folded and pressed anode is stitched together.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins is 62 mm tall.
