The Dario TK24 is an octode frequency changer or mixer. The octode had a better HF performance than the heptode and the final grid was a suppressor.
The pejorative term Foreign on imported valves of the time.
The classic envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7 base pins is 115 mm tall.
