The Ediswan PV8DE is a low impedance audio output triode and differs only slightly from the PV6DE apart from the filament parameters. The PV indicates a power valve and the DE stands for dull emitter.The simple split pin base pins. The faint etched identification can just be seen. It says that the filament has a maximum rating of 3.0 Volts and that it is a dull emitter.The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 87 mm tall.References: Data-sheet, 1047 & 1003.
