The CV1482 magnetron is seen without support cradle or magnet. The filament connections are the flying leads seen on the left. The anode connects to the right terminal, pictured past the output probe.
The basic magnetron is a fixed frequency device and this design was made in four variants (CV1479-82) to cover different frequencies.
The KB/Q identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the Q identifies the maker as English Electric Valve Co., Chelmsford.

The envelope is 75 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 190 mm tall, and 35 mm front to back.
