about

The CV1069 is a pre-WWII voltage stabiliser.
The striking voltage is 420 V, and four gaps exist within the bell cathode. The regulated voltage is high at 280 V. The tube current is 10 - 70 mA, and the regulation is 4 Volts per gap, or 1.4%.
The balloon envelope is 58 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 122 mm tall.
