The CV2692 is a gas-filled photocell that has a high sensitivity to the red end of the spectrum.
The photocathode and rod anode.

The wide glass tube envelope is 27 mm in diameter, and excluding the UX4 base pins is 88 mm tall.
Reference: Datasheet. Type CV2692 was first introduced in 1945.
