Eimac describe the 3X2500A3 as a medium-μ VHF transmitting triode with an anode dissipation of 2,500 Watts. Cooling is by forced air and the output power is of the order of 5 kW.
The envelope is 105 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 228 mm tall.
