CV327Sensibly equivalent¶ to:EF52

The CV327 is the UK government procurement code for the Mullard EF52. The CV327 is an all glass valve with an aluminium screening case, the same construction as the EF50, it is a straight RF/IF pentode and a member of the Philips EF2x family. See EF22.This valve was used in the Murphy B40 receiver and all subsequent variants up to and including the B40C. Thanks to Chris Parry for the additional details on this exhibit.The KB/DA identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the DA identifies the maker as Mullard Radio Valve Co., Blackburn.The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins is 65 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & Chris Parry. |
