The UF41 from Mullard is a vari-mu amplifier pentode. Use was for AGC controlled RF and IF amplification in superhet receivers.
Inside the screen can be seen the wire grids. The anode is divided into two plates joined by straps top and bottom.
The thin glass tube envelope is 19 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8A base pins, is 53 mm tall.
