The PCF808 triode pentode offers high voltage gain in a screened design. It was probably designed for VHF television use. The 30FL14 is a direct equivalent as can be seen from both Type designations appearing on the glass.
Pinnacle were resellers of valves and this exhibit is marked as a foreign import.
The triode on the left with the larger pentode on the right mounted with the grid axis at right angles to the triode. The perforated bright cylinder is the screen.
The screen around the pentode extends above and below the mica discs.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 46 mm tall.
