The CV4015/6065 is an indirectly heated RF and IF vari-μ pentode for use in compact radio equipment subject to vibration. It is a special quality version of the EF92 design. Vibration resistance is achieved by the use of double mica sheets in the supports.
The KQDD/K identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the QDD denotes the qualification authority (Unknown) and the K identifies the maker as ETEL, Electronic Tubes, High Wycombe.
Through the outer bright screen can be glimpsed the wire grids. The double mica discs are clear to see.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 45 mm tall.
