Extras ▼

The 6SH7L is a glass envelope version of the 6SH7. The design purpose was for wideband RF and IF amplification and has a relatively high mutual conductance (gm) value to ensure a good gain-bandwidth product.
The all enclosing anode prevents inspection of the inner structure.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 59 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet, 1040 & 1043. Type 6SH7L was first introduced in 1946. See also 1946 adverts.
