The PCF84 is triode pentode oscillator and mixer for the front ends of VHF television sets.
The triode on the right is screened from the pentode. The triode would be the local oscillator and the pentode the mixer or frequency changer.
The gaps in the end wall of the anode show the supports for the three wire grids.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 48 mm tall.
