The PM6D dates from 1929 and the valve is described as a highly sensitive detector. The PM series all had oxide (azide) coated filaments.
The dome carries the identification as etched lettering.
The box anode is mounted horizontally. The filament is an 'N' shape.
The grid is wound on notched rods.
The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 90 mm tall.
