about

The 1V2 is an EHT rectifier for use in flyback systems. It was designed for 525 line 30 frame American black and white television receivers.
The coiled oxide coated filament passes through the centre of a wide anode cylinder. The gap is substantial because of the high voltage.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 48 mm tall.
Reference: Datasheet. Type 1V2 was first introduced in 1950.
