The 6EV7 was designed for relay control in remotely controlled TV tuners. It is designed to withstand long periods at cut-off.
The data-sheet includes Class A amplifier details and those characteristics are presented below.
The twin triode sections.
One anode face view.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 58 mm tall.
Reference: Datasheet. Type 6EV7 was first introduced in 1960.
