The PCL82 triode pentode is a typical audio output and/or frame oscillator and output stage valve. This exhibit has the older style Mullard logo.
The triode on the left and the discolouration of the glass indicates that this valve has had a hard life.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 70 mm tall.
References: Datasheet & 1040. Type PCL82 was first introduced in 1955.
