The CV4015/6065 is an indirectly heated RF and IF vari-μ pentode for use in compact radio equipment subject to vibration. It is a special quality version of the EF92 design. Vibration resistance is achieved by the use of double mica sheets in the supports.
All three wire grids can be seen. The variable pitch of the control grid is hidden.The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 6065 data-sheet. Type CV4015 was first introduced in 1953. See also 1953 adverts. |
