Marconi TNMoC The National Museum of Computing - Valves

The Marconi VDS is a variable μ RF pentode with a control grid range of -0.5 to -30.0 Volts. The heater rating indicates that it was used in AC/DC mains superhet radio sets.

The Marconi brand and Made in England.

The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 120 mm tall.
