The S130 gas filled voltage stabiliser is on a B4 base. The striking voltage is 180 V and the burning current is from 6 to 75 mA. Within the current range the regulation is 5 volts.
Unlike our later S130 this exhibit has the paper label of the late 1920s and early 1930s.
The envelope is less obscured and the central closed cylinder can be clearly seen. The base cap has straight sides and not the roll top usually found on Cossor valves.
The pinch has extension glass tubes to shield the leads to the cylinder.
The Cossor name etc. is etched onto the dome of the envelope.
The balloon envelope is 50 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 105 mm tall.
