The 6BZ6 is described as a semi remote cut off pentode (Variable μ) for use in television receivers within the IF strip. Thus it was designed to provide wideband amplification at 30 - 40 MHz.
The two parts of the anode are joined by a thin strap. Within can be seen the two inner grids and two bright plates that act as the suppressor grid.
One part of the anode. The shape behind is the beam plate.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins is 48 mm tall.
