The CV1535 is a full wave rectifier that is ideally suited to small equipment both receivers and test equipment. The commercial EZ80 was found in many broadcast receivers and domestic audio equipment.
The performance is: 90 mA maximum current and with a required series resistance of 300 ohms to reduce the initial surge in charging the maximum 50 µF reservoir capacitor.
Both abodes are identical and are mounted vertically on a common cathode tube. The top anode is an inverted version of the lower anode and rotated through 90 degrees.
The lower anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 56 mm tall.
