The CV4033 is a special quality double triode with flying leads rather than pins as in the CV4024. The CV4033 is the equivalent of the Mullard M8162 special quality version of the ECC81 VHF double triode. It is useful for RF stages, oscillators and frequency multipliers.
The twin triodes with screening at the top above the first mica disc.
Normally vibration resistance is obtained by the use of double micas. Here three sets of discs are used.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm long.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type CV4033 was first introduced in 1956. See also 1956 adverts.
