The CV1674 is an indirectly heated RF pentode with a three Watt anode dissipation. The prototype was a modified MSPen. The old GPO code is POVT106.
The KB/E identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the E identifies the maker as Thorn-AEI, Brimsdown.
The reverse is plain screening paint.
Looking into the top shows a top screen. The anode has flat sides and rounded ends. The outer grid is close wound.
The balloon envelope is 46 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7 base pins, is 109 mm tall.
