The CV651 is a neon indicator and/or voltage stabiliser fitted into a small bayonet base. It strikes at 87 Volts minimum and is designed to burn at 48 to 67 Volts with a current of 0.4 to 2.0 mA. Probable use would be to stabilise a local oscillator.
The electrodes are identical curved plates. The bayonet base is not polarised to guarantee a particular insertion direction.
The thin glass tube envelope is 10 mm in diameter and, including the bayonet base, is 34 mm tall.
