The CV1923 is an X-Band T/R cell built into WG16. The operating frequency is between 9.245 and 9.575 GHz. The tuning adjustment is provided to ensure that the device provides the maximum isolation between transmit pulses and receive.
The square adjustment for positive connection to an external knob.
The screw connector to the priming anode. This provides a minimal ionisation within the cell that ensures rapid conduction in the presence of a power pulse.
The Ferranti Type designation.
The tuning scale.
The serial number is 64847.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and is 91 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type CV1923 was first introduced in 1971. See also 1971 adverts.
