The CV2029 (commercially the G180/2G)is a 150 Volt cold cathode voltage stabiliser with a regulation of 5 Volts for currents between 5 and 45 mA. This version is fitted with flying leads rather than the B8B base pins.
The 180 refers to the striking voltage.
The B8B base with wire replacing the short hard pins.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins, is 62 mm tall.
