The CV2481 is a twin primer broad band TR Cell or switch designed to protect the receiver front end of a radar system during the transmit pulse by shorting the receiver input waveguide.
The operating frequency range is 3.49 - 3.77 GHz - S-Band.
The KB/WD identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the WD identifies the maker as Claude General Neon Lights, Wembley.
The flange measures 103 × 73 mm. The waveguide is sealed as there is a low pressure gas filling.
The six pin connector.
Looking into the waveguide a gap structure is just observed as a pair of opposing cones.
The waveguide is 63 × 31 mm external.
