The CV5082 is a sharp cut-off, dual control pentode. As yet we cannot find a data-sheet for this valve. The CV4098 replaced the CV5082 and that data-sheet is attached. The CV4011 was the starting point for the development of the CV4098.
Dual control means that control can be via the suppressor grid as well as the control grid. Uses include mixer and modulator service. The valve has a commercial equivalents of M8196, 5725 & 6AS6W. The special quality valve is optimised for a rugged life such as airborne equipment.
The /DC identifies the maker as Mullard Radio Valve Co., Whyteleafe.
The outer grids can be seen clearly but the control grid is just a series of bumps.
