The CV4015 (commercially the M8161) is an indirectly heated RF and IF vari-μ pentode for use in compact radio equipment subject to vibration. It is a special quality version of the EF92 design. Vibration resistance is achieved by the use of double mica sheets in the supports.
The QTL logo.
All three wire grids are visible through the rectangular holes in the sides of the anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
