This exhibit is a Sodion A soft triode detector. It was made by the Connecticut Telephone & Electric Co. The external anode operates by electrolytic conduction through the glass in the same way as the J-117.
At the widest part of the envelope is 38 mm in diameter.

The thin glass tube envelope is 10 mm in diameter and, including the UV base pins, is 102 mm tall.
