The 7A7E is a pentode voltage amplifier. The 14A7/12B7 differ only in heater rating.
The Brimar name but also Made in USA. A re-branded valve. The hole in the anode wall shows part of the outer suppressor grid.
Looking through the anode hole the grid wires can be seen as can the fact that the control grid has copper supports.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8B base pins is 56 mm tall.
