The QQE03-12 or QQE03/12 VHF double beam tetrode follows the European pattern of a central common core and two spaced anodes finned for greater heat sinking.
The heater is centre tapped to enable operation from 12.6 Volts as well as the normal 6.3 V, thus making them directly suitable for operation from vehicle batteries.
The valve came in the original polythene bag with what looks like stores information on the label.
The Tesla name printed on the glass. As most valve printing the original colour is white.
The crossed swords logo.
The central core has the common cathode, screen grid and beam plates and independent control grids.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 70 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type QQE03/12 was first introduced in 1957. See also 1957 adverts.
