Z700U is a sub miniature cold cathode trigger tube with a primer cathode.

The primary application was in decade counting/switching systems with speeds around 2-5 KHz.

The inside is blackened and little detail is visible.

There looks to be two plates and a rod within.

The thin glass tube envelope is 9.4 mm in diameter and, excluding the base wires, is 24 mm tall.
