the Eimac Y-616 is a planar triode designed to operate at S-Band (2 to 4 GHz).

It would be operated in a co-axial housing or cavity and all the connections are co-axial. The anode has a finned aluminium heat sink that is 32 mm in diameter and would probably require forced air cooling.

The anode ring is closest to the heat sink and the grid connection is at the other side of the ceramic ring with the cathode/heater at the extreme left.

The planar envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, including the base connections, is 67 mm tall.
