The VT-134 / 12A6 American metal beam tetrode was designed in the early 1940's for use in single end audio stages of receivers, mainly domestic but the rugged construction made them ideal for military/industrial use as well and hence was adopted by the American Government as Vacuum Tube 134.
The RCA logo and country of origin.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 67 mm tall.
