The K302 klystron is for low power microwave power generation and was designed to operate at 9.32 - 9.5 GHz. The output is 30 mW and can be tuned electrically over a 30 MHz range. The beam voltage would be 350 Volts. The micrometer is the tuning adjustment. Output from the klystron is coupled directly to the integral waveguide 16.
The waveguide 16 is 68 mm long, including the flange.
The thin metal tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, including the IO base pins, is 112 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 4014. Type K302 was first introduced in 1954. See also 1954 adverts.
