The 6922 is a special quality double triode. The special quality in this case referred to its long service life. Electrically the 6922 is identical to the E88CC.![](../pics/aaa0883a.jpg)
The 6922 is described as being for use in cascode circuits and as a multivibrator and cathode follower in computers. The 6922 is of frame-grid construction and not specifically built for operation at cut-off for prolonged periods. The E88CC was much used in oscilloscopes.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 45 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & private correspondence.
