The CV242 photocell is designed to have an anode voltage of 105 Volts and has a sticker to indicate this.
The cathode is a flat plate that is folded to give an included angle of 90 degrees. The cathode is set so that the incident light travels down into the fold and thus exposes the maximum surface. The anode is an open wire rectangular frame.The thin glass tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 83 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. |
