The 6AS6/CV2522 is a physically small amplifier pentode. It is designed for dual control and therefore the suppressor has a short grid base or control range.
Reseller Zaerix imported this valve from the USSR.
Looking through the holes in the end walls of the anode, all three wire grids can be seen. The dual control characteristic is conferred by the close wound suppressor grid.
The working face of the anode. The dish like getter holder can be seen at the top.
The other side of the anode with the copper rod connecting to the base.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 38 mm tall.
