The Mullard PM12 is a battery Screen Grid valve for HF amplification in wireless receivers. The paper label reads - This valve has the metal coating connected to one filament pin. This coating should NOT come into contact with any earthed screen etc., in the receiver, as this might result in a short circuit of the bias or LT battery. The reverse is plain metallic paint. The balloon envelope is 46 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 109 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & Data. Type PM12 was first introduced in 1927. See also 1927 adverts. |
