The CV51 is the UK government specification code for this tuning indicator. When issued commercially it was given the Type designation of Y65.
It is a single shadow indicator and the bright circle closes with increasing signal.
The target voltage range is 180 to 250 Volts, and the control range on the grid is 11 Volts change.
Seen from the top the target and control grid are visible, as is the conical screen.
The classic envelope is 37 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 88 mm tall.
